Ola River is an artist from Siberia.
My art is a journey into the realm of digital painting and artificial intelligence, allowing me to express my creative vision. I believe that incorporating new technologies and materials in art is key to reflecting the contemporary world.
"Using a stylus, tablet, and digital software instead of brushes and canvas, I create my artworks in the realm of digital reality."
While I value and appreciate classical techniques in art, such as oil painting and drawing, they serve as a foundation that complements and expands my artistic practice.
My works contain numerous references to our modern world, presenting them as questions I pose to the viewer or as my own personal responses to contemporary issues.
I don't limit myself to a single theme in my creations; instead, I constantly explore new directions and ideas. My aim is to create artworks that evoke a flow of associations and spark an internal dialogue in search of meaning.
I hold a primary degree in psychiatry and have studied psychoanalysis, authoring a thesis on "Psychology of Creativity." I have received additional education as a graphic designer and have taken private lessons in drawing and composition under the guidance of graphic artist Nikolay Zhukov. I have also completed a course on "Cultural Marketing" by Peter van Empelen, the director of the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam.
I have participated in over 20 group and solo exhibitions.
The artist's works can be found in the collection of CSI "Radiance" and in private collections in Russia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
